This is a Christmas book with a difference. Even though for most of us Christmas is already a distant memory, you have to go out and get your hands on this book. I can't say too much about it, without giving anything away, but what I can say is that it is gorgeous and has that "Ah!" factor that everyone I know who has read it experiences.
Linda Sue Park is an excellent storyteller and Bagram's illustrations are luminous.

I love this book - fantastic christmas present and I thought the father/son relationship in the book was beautiful too.
